Telematic currency - Telematic money
Okay, of course, electronic money is not palpable,
is not associated with a specific physical object, i.e., electronic
money is a title of payment without a specific material base.
Indeed, electronic money is a way of payment in
addition to other payment methods currently in use.
However, electronic currency or electronic money
is a first step towards telematic money, digital representative
money, exclusively utilized by means of digital networks.
In my opinion, telematic money is clearly a new
form of currency, a new species in cash, and this instrument will
certainly have a very important role in the social structure of
the years to come.
To all of you who are interested in this subject,
I heartily recommend an exploration of the site http://www.bardina.org/
maintained and administered by the Joan Bardina Center, Spanish
entity that has been driven and sustained by Agustí Chalaux,
Magdalena Grau Figueras, Luis Maria Xirinacs, and also by other
Catalan social researchers.
There, at that place, in that virtual emplacement,
you will find documents that without doubt would clarify
the topic indicated above. These documents are written in Spanish
and also in several other languages: English, French, Italian, Catalan,
etc.
